Q.1what is a mixture?

    When two or more substances combine together to form a new substance by physical method  is known as mixture.It is mixed in the form of solutions, suspension and colloids.
Example of mixture include sand and salt,water and sugar.

There are two types of mixture

1.Homogeneous 

2.Heterogeneous

Homogeneous mixture

          A mixture which has uniform composition throughout its mass is called the homogeneous mixture.

          It is a mixture  in which having different state ,it has a solid ,liquid and gaseous mixture.Having uniform composition or same proportion through out any given sample. Commonly homogeneous mixture is known as solutions, because homogeneous mixture having uniform composition or definite proportion and it's particles can not see with naked eye ,it is too small in size .
A colloidal particles is too small , homogeneous solution can be formed with the particles of colloids  , it's particles size between suspension and solution.colloidal particles may be seen in a beem of light such as dust of air ,fog and milk is an example of  colloids.But suspension having large particles as compare to colloids it is a heterogeneous mixture.

Heterogeneous mixture

      A mixture which does not have uniform composition through its mass is called the homogeneous mixture.

                It is a heterogeneous mixture and having solid, liquid and gaseous state.it is a mixture of different composition and having indifinite proportion . It's particles is too large can be seen with naked eye.suspension particles is too long this particles is in heterogeneous solutions.suspension is defined as heterogeneous mixture of particles is greater than 1000nm,these particles  can be seen with naked eye.
